"What are you doing?" I ask, watching with weary eyes as Anakin clipped his belt around his waist, a sabor and blaster attached to It. "You can't seriously be going after him?"

He ignored me. Not bothering to even spare me a glance as he made sure everything was stable and in place.  Sighing he tells me, "This is all my fault Nico, its been too long since we've last seen him." He explains, tilting his chin to meet my fidgeting gaze. 

I frown. "You're leaving, aren't you?" I blurt out the obvious, stepping forward and placing my hands on his hips, hoping the sensual touch would somehow change his mind or perhaps stall him at the least. I didn't want him to go, not again. Not after all we've been through, all we've fought for. "What about-"

"She'll be fine, she has her mother" he cut me off, planting a tender kiss on my forehead with that same dazzling smile of his. 

He always wins, and I think it's because I always let him. But not this time. It can't be that way. This time, I will have to be victorious for the sake of our family.

That's really what you think I am?" Addy's voice was a venomous whisper, her anger barely contained. "You know nothing of my past, you arrogant fool." Anakin's chest brushed against her back, catching up to her pace. "And I'd like to know nothing of it." His words sliced through her like a saber stab. The girl whipped around, shoving her saber at his neck. It hummed, the blue glow illuminating the generals ethereal features in the dark corridor. "Just stay out of my fucking way, General Skywalker." His brows furrowed, a frown slowly forming on his lips. Their eyes locked. With a light wave of his hand, he force pushed the girl against the wall. Her saber fell, the blade disengaging on the ground.
