Nathan Callie Genovese is everything to me. Always has been, always will be. And no divorce decree will tell me otherwise. She thinks she knows what happened between us, but she's got no clue. She's as stubborn and loyal as she is beautiful so I know she never would have left on her own, and I gave her the out she wanted. Even though I'll alway love her, I don't regret it. Now, I see our girls on Wednesdays and every other weekend and I go to bed alone every night in an empty penthouse wondering if the life I gave up was really worth all of this. It's not. I never really thought is was. But I was giving Callie what she wanted. Callie I was born with a resentment you only get by being the youngest child and only girl to the largest and most powerful Mafia family in all of the US. And Nathen Stone was the only one who could ever calm the wild in the way it needed. Quiet, confident and sensitive. He was the perfect husband until my father got his claws into him. Now, he's the most sought after defense attorney for organized crime families. As our girls grew up, so did his list of enemies, and when I wanted out, he wouldn't budge. In the divorce, I got the girls and the house, and he got my family and all the comes with that, good or bad. I'm the black sheep now, and avoid my dad and three older brothers at all costs. But when the unthinkable happens and our daughter is kidnapped, they're the only ones I can turn to. We all have to work together to bring her home.
