As the time went by, I grew more anxious by the second. The silence was killing me. How could I let this happen? The tap dripped slowly, each thud of water against marble pushing the limits of stress I experienced like I never thought was even possible. If something didn't happen soon, I was sure I'd punch the nearest wall. My eyes flickered from the timer and to the wall as fears, anxieties and apprehensions began to cloud my mind and pulling my train of thought in various directions causing me to wish I went back to the silence I hated only a moment ago. Everything seemed to stop as the timer went off and a chill shot up my spine. Well, it's now or never.

I was drowning. I knew that. I also knew that the hands around my throat, pushing me deeper into the river water was the cause. What I didn't know was who was drowning me and why. It hurt thinking. It hurt to do anything right now. But I still screamed under the cold water and pushed the hands away as hard as I could. It didn't have much effect. I fought and fought, but I was getting weaker, and colder. The pain was overbearing. I couldn't breathe. I can sense him wanting me and his head on my shoulders, hugged me like we are just the person in the hotel. People are gazing us now. "Enough, enough, people are looking at us. It's embarrassing." I protested. We sit and finish the meal and share the food. After eating he leads me to my room, I am drowsy from the wine I drink. He did not take a sip of it and it's better for me.
