As the Prophecy of the Birds says: the Hawk and Jay shall be the two. One of the side of Dark, the other of Star. Bringing war upon peace. And peace upon war.
Hawkpaw is a new apprentice. She dreams of becoming leader, as most 'paws do. However, she faces tragedy, and terrible loss.
Jaypaw was a stray kit found on the edge of Stormclan territory. He knows of nothing, remembers nothing. An outsider, never accepted. He holds a secret. One that haunts his dreams. (Oh my dear baby jesus i'm new).

A fire. Caused by twolegs. And suddenly Nightpaw's entire life as she knows it has changed. The four clans that had ruled the territories for centuries have been wiped out.
