Alex Bradshaw was recovering. She had gone through hell and back. Her life had been close to perfect before the incident took place but now, all the things she used to believe in seemed gravely superficial. She wasn't herself anymore and she didn't want to be.
There was nothing special about her, nothing that made her stand out. In fact, she tried her level best to blend in to the crowd.
Imagine her surprise when a gorgeous looking new guy arrived in her school and took a suspicious interest in her. She hated him because everything about him screamed dishonest. Alex was good at that, reading people. Jordan seemed like an open book but she was soon to find out that he was one hell of a mystery.
He wasn't who he says he was and isn't here for what he says he is.
He's after Alex. He wants something for her and being the best in his job, he was going to get it.
Only if this annoying little thing called love hadn't chosen to intervene.

"I had one job. ONE STINKING JOB. I've always succeeded and being a pompous little shit I knew that I was good at this and I thought nothing could possibly bring me down. But then I met her and I got to know her and suddenly this job that I thought would be so easy, seemed like the hardest thing in the world. I undermined the cruelty of life, thinking that I could survive whatever it threw my way. I don't think I'm going to survive Alex Bradshaw. I don't think love is a force that shows any mercy."
