9/11 survivor Eirlys Vaughn is turning nineteen and dreading college. In her opinion, nothing could be worse than attempting to complete four more years of school, especially when you just graduated out of one.
Her opinion makes a complete 180, however, when she is whisked away into another dimension and is thrust on a quest to save both worlds with the company of her lying best friend/roomate/'protector', a moody chef, a temperamental actress and a guy with serious anger issues.
