Takehaya Masato is a high school student with good looks, excellent grades and outstanding skill in sports. However, despite all these amazing traits, he lost his social life because of an incident he did not wish to happen. Because of this and his introvert personality, he has difficulty fixing his tarnished reputation.
At the day of their school's opening, gossips of a ghost sighting at the back of the school campus began to spread among students. Masato decided to investigate the matter, out of curiosity. On the way, he stumbled upon the president of the school's student body, Reina Fleurblanc, going to the same place. What mysteries will they discover, and how will this change Masato's everyday life?

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. Honestly, I don't give a rat's ass about anything from the storyline. Those fucking capture targets are so damn stupid, falling for an idiotic birdbrain heroine. Actually, they probably only fell in love with her for their egos. Why should I ever feel that they're a threat to my life? I'm a duke and duchess' daughter of a powerful kingdom, I'm smart, beautiful, and powerful. I'm just generally better than them. Yeah, I'll just focus on my work as the heir of the dukedom, spoil my brother, improve my magic and swordsmanship, play around, and kill annoying people. This shall be my new life as the prodigy of the century! This is my own story, not fanfiction. All my characters are original. So transmigration into a novel is real. Fantastic. But instead of waking up as the dazzling heroine or the cunning villainess... I got stuck as the cannon fodder side character. The one who showed up twice and died in a single sentence. Two scenes. One line of death. That's my entire legacy. Even the villainess gets more respect than me. Well, not this time.
