Some said the virus came from the outer space,it rod the meteor that fell out of the sky in 26th of december,others said it was the sign of the second coming of god,and some says it was virus that evolve through out the history.

But they were wrong, it was meant to happen, at least some people wanted it to happen, a secret facility that studies GMT or genetic mutation invented a virus that alters genes and may make homo sapien a home superior, but they thought it was ready to handle a human host but instead It wiped out every human in every country, continent and the world as you know it.

The world tried to stop the pandemic but it was too fatal.The struggle was just futile. They weren't able to stop what was coming. The virus was airborne, people who were sick already was the first one to die. There body did not take the virus so it killed them. But they didn't stay dead. They started to crave for more G-virus that humans was able to carry.

So technically all humans are infected. But a human host won't turn unless he/she dies or direct ifection, which is being bit."

But to those people who are lucky to be alive even with direct infection, are now carries the gift of genitic mutation which the GMT have wanted to achieve in the first place and the people that have this are called the altereds.
