She wasn't the Alice you know from the Disney movie. She wasn't a bubbly blonde that accidentally fell down the rabbit hole. No, this Alice, the real Alice, had been institutionalized for lunacy. She craved an escape from the cruel mistreatment she suffered from. She dreamt of a place where blue caterpillars smoked hookah, a Queen had card-shaped soldiers, a white rabbit was always late, and a man drove himself insane from making hats. She dreamt of the place that got her committed in the first place. She wished for an escape. But when she finally breaks out of her personal hell, will it be all she ever wanted? Or it will be another form of excruciating torture?
