This story is a work in progress and myself trying different writing techniques and forms of expression. It follows our protagonist Danny Everight (ever-right) a true golden boy. He's not very abnormal at school. He gets good grades, he's maybe a bit too smart for his own good, he's very active and fit, he knows everyone and they know him, and he has several good friends. He's an excellent, hard, and driven worker and everyone in town knows of him or his family. When gangs and criminals come to threaten that life, who wouldn't aspire to be a hero capable of protecting that life. But aspiring and actually doing are entirely different things. He's constantly in over his head and death, destruction, disease, police are around every corner, and he's struggling to keep it together at work and school. He Starts to see that his friends and life may be worse than he thought and struggles to keep the will to protect it. In his irresponsible and careless haste to create things capable of helping him keep up with his enemies, life, and school, he lets something very potent fall into the hands of a very powerful... man? Or more? Naivety will lead to his downfall, he has three options... grow up, give up, or die.
Keep in mind this story has or might have themes of abuse(sexual, mental and physical), self harm, suicide, racism, sexism, violence, and sex. This story is in no way encouraging these it's is just written so that the people are real and relateable as well as to highlight these issues in teens and even adults. Thank you for understanding.
*TW* Contains topics and scenes of sexual assault, self-harm, abuse.*
"You know you loved every second of it," I can feel the tears welling up as well as the anger building up within me. I stare at him for a while before I have to turn away from his hungry gaze. "Look I just came here to tell you that I forgive you for what you did back in Cali and I'll take you back,"
"You forgive me?" I yell. "I did nothing to you. You raped me! You fucking raped me! You have no right to come here and tell me that. You. Forgive. Me. You traumatized me. What you did to me tore me up inside and was eating away at me until I tried to kill myself. And when I told people they didn't believe me. I had to listen to so many people talk about how great a guy you were and how I clearly just regretted sleeping with you. You are a monster. You made me hate myself for something that was never my fault. You have caused me so much pain and suffering," I pause to take a deep breath. "So you don't get to come here to my school and tell me you forgive me. You don't get to make me feel bad about coming forward. The only thing I regret is ever thinking you were a good person."
