August 2018:
A new minor disease is spreading in poorer African countries.
September 2018:
Global crisis is called; the disease, named E-18, has spread to all countries excepting the USA and Greenland.
December 2018:
E-18 has reached the United States. Within a week, 1/10 of the population is dead.
February 2019:
Global communication is lost. Only 3,500 American citizens remain. Despite efforts to keep him safe, the president has passed from infection.
December 2019:
Government officials band together and relocate to Nevada, where infection has spread the least. Calling together architects and engineers, plans for sanctuaries are created.
June 2021:
The first sanctuary, Amethyst Hills, has finished construction. Lawyers, doctors, and anyone of the sort is offered a spot in the new community. The rest must pay for a chance at a new life.
July 2022:
The final sanctuary is finished. Ruby Valley is the smallest of its kind and therefore the cheapest.
October 2024:
Code 7292 is put in place: the government has the right to employ breeders to repopulate the human race.
August 2025:
Ember Mizrachi, the first child produced by code 7292, is born.

Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. A man who had the virus attacked another man, chewing his face off. It wasn't until 20 minutes later, when the Miami police arrived to the scene. When officers arrived they shot the 'zombie' but he ignored it, almost as if he didn't know he had been shot. He got shot four times before he actually died. Many people blame the attack on drugs, like "bath-salts", but if only they knew the truth. They couldn't find bath-salts in the man's system. He tested positive for LQP-79. The Miami officials deny any existence of this virus, but they don't realize that keeping this dirty secret is going to bite them later. LQP-79 seems to have been forgotten, until ten years later. Years later, people attack Jerusalem, and declare war against the Jews. This makes God extremely angry. When LQP-79 resurfaces in 2022, ten years later, as a result of God's wrath, people scramble to find a cure, knowing that this virus is extremely capable of becoming airborne. It is then, that people realize that this virus is a lot more than they can handle. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages.
