Demi left the UK four years ago to be sent to rehab. Demi hasn't spoken to anyone from high school, she couldn't bring herself too. After all it made news she went to rehab for eating problems as well bipolar. Demi was too ashamed to face her fears, anxiety still controlled her even if she had treatment.
Demi had always wondered about Niall on how he has been, he played on her mind as the boy she never liked until it was too late. Demi wonders what could have happened if they got a long, even if it's a bit late to think of what it could have been.
Niall got his life, his mates became a famous boy band for around the world. Stealing girls hearts. The only one he didn't steals was Demi's from high school. Niall watched her growth on success and always wished her the best, even if she didn't know it. When Demi left Niall had wanted to kiss her, kiss her so badly, but he didn't. Niall want's to work it out with her, but Demi's big world he felt like an ant.
But these questions turn into answers when they bump into each other once again....

Little town, little events. After a brief but impressionable summer of growing close and being inseparable buddies, he moves away to Las Vegas for 3 years never contacting her again, just for her life of her first boyfriend, school studies, household drama and basically her attempt to change into a more feminine girl fall apart when she gets news her sweet kiddo pal is coming back, only to find, the city changes things, in more ways than one, and the kind, innocent, polite boy she once knew, is characteristically unrecognizable in the weirdest of ways. Drama, hate, triangles, mixed feelings, past secrets, present conflicts, these are all expected when the boy too wild for her small town changes her life at every turn; but what happens, when the most unexpected of feelings occur, prompting issues and shaky hope, when he seems incapable of truly loving anything? Or anyone. Not even himself, and she starts to wonder just what changed him in the 3 years he's been away to make him take on a whole new role in her life as well as challenge other aspects of it, along with her own troubling journey.
