HALIKS.
Pronounced Alex.
A name on a phone left... for me...

When I was eight, my father died. As I walked out of our apartment, three strange black vans pulled up. Men in black pointed guns towards me. Just in time, my father came outside, but as he tried to protect me, he was shot three times in the chest. The men immediately left.
The bleeding could not be stopped. By the time my brother arrived, it was too late, Father was already dying.
He whispered something to my brother, and smiled to me saying "I love you Mireya." With that he died.
After my father's death, my brother rarely ever came home, he was always at work. Although he never came home, he was still the caring and loving person he had always been

One year later, my brother was diagnosed with heart failure. I thought that he would live through it and fight it off, but three years later, he died. Leaving me a phone with HALIKS' number and a letter containing information on HALIKS.
The price of knowing about HALIKS, brought me to unfold devastating secrets my brother kept.

Who or what is HALIKS and what does it have to do with my family? I guess I will just have to find out by taking on this adventure.

Takes place in Japan.

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. [previously known as Espionage: double-cross] Thanks for reading :)

~I froze mid way through splashing cold water over my face at a slight draft. Liam can't be here yet. It's too soon. I only contacted him 2 minutes ago. My senses spiked to high alert. There was the soft sound of someone walking towards where I am. It's male. An expert at what he's doing. An assassin or possibly an agent. But with my current status I'd say assassin. Taking the knife that I had under the basin I turn and walk silently to the door. He was just there. I saw the tip of his polished black shoe enter the bathroom before I lunged, swiping out with my knife. He saw it coming and grabbed my wrist in an iron grip. He twisted sharply and I cry out in pain before flicking my wrist and slicing their wrist. He lets go with a hiss of pain and I tackle them to the ground. Bumping the side table, a vase fell and shattering on the ground. I stab the knife into his arm and he throws me off, the air being knocked from my lungs. The man drives my own knife through my arm and I scream in agony. He puts a cloth over my mouth and everything goes black. Liam Stone I walk into Alyshas room and quickly group rung the others. Vases were shattered, blood in a large pool on the floor as well as a trail heading towards the door as if the victim was dragged. "Liam? What is it?" Alex asks and I know the others are listening. "It's Alysha. She's gone." I say then hang up and stare at the blood and shattered vases.~ Alysha Hill is a talented agent who does jobs that other agents can't or don't wanna do. She works for the government as a spy for another agency. When she gets an invitation to her old friend Maddisons wedding she jumps at the chance to go to Coronado. The place where her biggest targets are currently. But it's also where Liam and Alex Stone is. Her past and present battle as she goes to the wedding. What happens when she finds out who her targets next victim is? What happens when she let's someone in? What if that person is someone she's been avoiding? Liam Stone.

Have you ever had anything strange happen to you that you couldn't explain? One moment you're normal, the next... Well, it happened to me. On my sixteenth birthday, my life changed forever. I learned that day I was different. I have a gift... And I've been hunted by men intending to capture or kill me just because of what I can do. I'm Telekinetic, a mover they call me. I can move objects with just my thoughts. I can do things that most other people only dream about. Except sometimes a dream can start out exciting, and quickly become a nightmare. My name is Kyle... and this is my story. "The Hunted One " is part one of the series. Part two is called "Caitlin's Way". And part three, " Destiny " is also completed. I've also finished writing "The Presence." It's a ghost story with my kind of twist and takes place at the same time as my first two stories and If you're a Hunted One reader, you may find the ending interesting... I also have a story called "Return of the Black Eyed Children " It's based on the legend. (Look it up on Google) My latest is called "Vengeful Spirits." I'm sure the tittle describes what it's about... Please consider all my stories as a first draft. I'll be editing/polishing as time allows. Highest ranking for "The Hunted One" #45 in Paranormal on 09/29/17 And as always silent readers are always welcome. Votes and Comments are always much appreciated! Follow @WPutman68 to keep up on my latest posts. Thanks to everyone for their support and taking some time out of your busy day to spend it in my world...
