This book is about  girl who in the first year of highschool when see comes back to school after Christmas she realise that see lost all of her friends because of a fight about a boy. In the first time of her life she feels alone and it's slowly killing her from inside.

She decides to her life into her own hands and starts to make boy friends at shcool, because she hopes they won't have fights about boys. Sadly it's not going the way she imagined so she applies to a youth exchange program for the summer. Not long after that she founds out that she got accepted and she is going to Italy for the summer.

When she finally finds her way out that's when things get complicated and she's not that sure anymore that she wants to go to Italy. It's going to be the hardest decision of her life,because she have to chose between two first experience love and adventure ....
