Annabelle hadn't understood what he meant, nor had she known she would understand eventually, but in a dark revelation. Ori seemed to be uninterested in having a conversation with anyone in the Land of Departure but eventually talked to Annabelle and then the others. Little did Annabelle know that the night before the Mark of Mastery Exam would be her last night at home... before everything went downhill. Annabelle is about to learn how cruel the worlds can actually be, and she's not going to like it.
