"Princess!" he yelled after her. "Where are you going?" "Back to the castle," she replied without stopping. "Not by yourself you're not!" "I'm sorry,"-she whipped around-"I didn't realize you were my father?" "Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself." "Oh, so this is about self-preservation?" "Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. [This story is set in a fusion of Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, with a couple tweaks and some familiar faces'n'places from older games joining along the way!] Thank you for the #1 spot in the Zelda tag! 💗 And thank you for #1 in PrincessZelda, LinkxZelda, Zelink, Midna and BreathoftheWild tags!! LOST LIVES by Birbbirdbrid
16 parts Complete
Wandering had never been the best thing on many people's minds. Many people, especially young ones, like to wander around, however. They have high spirits, leap before looking, and generally see the world as fun to explore. Ones that do, so as well as disregard their personal values and aspirations, are generally seen as "lost". When the children all come home, none of them are lost. They see the bright daylight of tomorrow. They come home for dinner, sometimes for a quick snack, and get ready to set when they wander for next time. Although, some kids don't come back. That's not to say that they're gone. They're just lost. Lost in direction, travels, or just so happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Being lost does come and go through. If you're lost, you're gonna be found sooner or later. How much later, however, is another story. It all depends on where you stop and figure out that you're actually lost, and who is going to find you anyway. If you're unlucky, you might just have to wait to be found for a long time. Hope you brought a book. There was a teenage boy who went by the name Zubin, who had decided to traverse the raging blizzards of "The White Hell" on a voyage to another home. The reason is that it stands between him and a place where he could start over after his life in his hometown had been decimated by an unknown cause. The White Hell seems impossible to go across, and it shows in almost killing Zubin...if it wasn't for the introduction of a penetrating, soft, female voice. -------------------- The Three Mage Sisters and Hyness aren't mine and are part of the Kirby Series owned by HAL Laboratory and Nintendo, and come from the 2017 video game "Kirby Star Allies". Every other character is my character.

There exists a power that has dwelled in the land of Hyrule for countless millennia. It is the power that helped create the land, one that is coveted by many. Every few thousand years, three people are fortunate-or perhaps unfortunate-enough to receive it. And in the current era, the three have been bestowed this power once again. A sharp-tongued thief who insists on running from his past despite hating that concept, a headstrong heiress who loves myths and legends but doesn't expect to be swept up in one herself, and a desperate king who just wishes for him and his people to be respected. One welcomes their power, one despises it, and one depends on it for their survival. But no matter the circumstances of how they came about their power, each of these people has to ask themselves this question: "Are you truly worthy?" •I don't own the images and music tracks used for this story's chapters
