Heart of Steal

Katalina Aislin Snyder knows better than to follow suit as citizens of Sorca march like puppets all around the streets, always in agreement with the self-centered royals, known as the "Elites". She considers everyone around her shallow, people controlled by the wealthy. As a stealthy, 19 year old thief, she is well accustomed to surviving on her own by living in the shadows. Although, her dark, concealed lifestyle soon takes a wide turn into the glaring light and places her right in the middle of the people she despises: The Elites.

As she is captured and thrown into prison, Katalina can only pass her time by planning revenge. She finds herself curious about the superstitious guard as he paces outside her jail cell. At least, he provided something for Katalina to think about instead of going insane with nothing to do.

When Katalina is finally presented with an opportunity to escape, she can't help but be tempted to accept it. Even if this chance meant marrying the one and only Prince Julian Bryant, she will find a way to alter the agreement.
