Dancing In The Snow
Mark just moved to Ireland for a couple years and while he was exploring all around his town that he was in it started to snow, a pile of snow gently fell on his coloured hair and he saw a boy with neon green hair sitting out on a pair of swings, Mark thought he looked lonely and he went over and sat next to him, the boy was startled that someone came and sat next to him on the swings, the boy didn't look up but Mark knew that he was shocked "hey! Are you okay?..." Mark said warmly, the boy sniffed and spoke quietly "I-I'm fine!" The boy said turning his head the other way.
Mark didn't know what to do so he just tried to help the boy "there's something wrong I can tell! Because many times I've had that look and said I'm fine!" Mark said assuringly, the boy moved his head back but kept it down, "wouldn't you rather make fun of me?...!" The boy said putting his hands in his hair, "what? Why would I do that? I wouldn't hurt anyone! But you can tell me what's wrong!...I know I'm a complete stranger but you can definitely tell me what's up!" Mark said rubbing his back.
The boy put his blue hood on his head and it made a shadow over his face, he looked up and at Mark and Mark straight away knew that he had been sitting here for a while, Mark carefully and gently pushed his hoodie off the boys head and Mark's red widened at how many cuts he had on his face, he had a split lip a black eye and bruise on his left cheek, "where are your parents?...!" Mark asked gently "their on a business trip and they'll be gone for a year or two!" The boy explained, okay well I'll take you to my house and I'll help you with those cuts and bruises!" Mark said standing up off the cold swing seat, Mark lent out a hand and the boy grabbed it hesitantly, the boy dropped to the thin snow on the ground and Mark quickly helped him up "right sorry I forgot I had a broken ankle!" The boy said putting his head down "oh nah that's fine I'll just carry you! My house isn't too far from here!" Mark said
