Prologue  *Molly's  POV*   It's strange how one minute someone can be so close to you, then the next they've forgotten all about you.   When I was 11, almost 12, my 16 year old best friend, Harry Styles, auditioned for the X-factor.   We met when I was getting bullied, he stood up for me and we became friends just like that.   Gosh, I was really geeky back then; big glasses, crooked teeth and, not to mention, I was fat.   He didn't get through on his own... They thought he would be better in a boy band, so they put him in a boy band with four other boys; Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. They all auditioned on their own too.   Together, all five of them made the band, One Direction.  It was all going well, they had fans and they were being voted tons of times every week.   Throughout the whole of it I sat patiently watching them on the TV, and when Harry did a solo I would cheer really loudly.   But then, on the semi-final, of the X-Factor they came third place. They are the band that lost the X-Factor, but won the world.   I never knew that he would forget about me, but I guess I was stupid to believe that he would remain my knight in shining armer forever...Todos os Direitos Reservados

They were drawn to each other like magnets, and for sure Harry and Louis who started dating the second they know the meaning of that word. And they have been dating ever since until last June, when Louis graduated High school and had to go to university in London while Harry still had another year to go. Harry broke up and after a summer full of desperate voicemails, texts and phone calls, the curly lad doesn't hear anything anymore from his ex-lover. That is until Zayn gathers the boys during next summer for a road trip around Italy. All five of them had been apart all year. Everybody is excited about the road trip, until Harry sees that Louis brought an extra person with him: His new boyfriend.

I honestly can't really cope with Liams passing so I'm writing a fanfic. This is my way of keeping Liam alive. The idea of the book is one that I pulled from an old unpublished fanfic I wrote in 2014. The idea was to travel back in time to be with one direction, which now seems something I want to do more than ever. I'll tell you now that I decided the main character will travel back from a time where Liam was still alive so she doesn't have to deal with knowing when he'll pass away. Just to keep everything light and fun. Disclaimer I'll publish as I go so sorry if you have to wait for the next chapter, but I'm uploading every other day. Normally I wouldn't publish my writing I'm too much of a perfectionist to share stuff like this but grieving alone really sucks so I'm just hoping us directioners can find comfort within each other. I'll try my best to include many personal details and events about the boys into the book but I have to leave some room for creative writing. I'm also just grieving and hurting so please let's be kind to one another.

So I would visit a couple of times, I met the boys a few times and they were really lovely, but it wasn’t enough to keep the relationship Harry and I had as strong as it was. I get an occasional “Hey” text every month or so, but I haven’t seen him in about 2 years. Living right next to the Style/Cox household, I see Anne and Gemma all the time, but the few times that Harry came home, I was either on vacation or in college in the states. Harry was my best friend, but it seems like every day, the hope that we will go back to the old days comes slighter. But, little did Harry know, I was coming back into his life, well I didn’t technically know either. With my long blonde hair that reached the small of my back, dip dyed pink and purple at the ends instead of my short hair that stopped just after my shoulder blades. With my thin legs and flat stomach instead of my chubby cheeks. And the fact that I was no longer the little girl that every guy wanted as their best friend, but the girl that every guy drooled over.
