One night, a group of scavengers hiding in the mountains found an unusual egg. It seemed to be a cross between a RainWing and and IceWing, and it looked like it had been abandoned. Some of them wanted to smash it, but one girl convinced the others that instead, they should raise the abandoned dragonet. And so the odd dragon, Prism, grew up with scavengers: speaking their language, learning their ways, and thinking of them as family. But when she meets other dragons, will she choose to start a new life in the rainforest? Or will she stay with the family that she loves? And will she ever fit in with either group?

Spittlebug moved to Pantala to get a breath of fresh air from her busy hive life. She intended to create a farm and sell whatever she grew to the neighbouring kingdoms.
