One night, a group of scavengers hiding in the mountains found an unusual egg. It seemed to be a cross between a RainWing and and IceWing, and it looked like it had been abandoned. Some of them wanted to smash it, but one girl convinced the others that instead, they should raise the abandoned dragonet. And so the odd dragon, Prism, grew up with scavengers: speaking their language, learning their ways, and thinking of them as family. But when she meets other dragons, will she choose to start a new life in the rainforest? Or will she stay with the family that she loves? And will she ever fit in with either group?

Now she has a chance to meet new dragons at Jade Mountain Academy. She meets a friend who is a firescales, so he can touch her, his name is Falcon, he is a Skywing. Snowdrift likes him, a lot. Except the Ice Kingdom is melting and there is going to be a war between the Skywings and Icewings. Who will win? Part 2: Falcon and ShiftingSky go off to the new Ice Kingdom. Once there an unexpected event happens. The three dragons go back and get there revenge. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together?
