Emory, an eighth grader at a middle school never shared her songs with anyone, nobody even knew she wrote music of any kind, but, she looks back and shares how she got from thinking up songs in fifth grade to writing them down and sharing them in eighth grade.

When Emory begins to feel suicidal, there's no telling what will happen to her or to her best friends.

Her idols in music, her friends, her songs meant to save those who want to end their lives, and her reasons for what she does are all explained in not only the story, but in the songs she writes.

Also, if you want to know what kind of music before you read it, go look at my description/ bio thingy, the stuff I'm interested in is the tyoe of stuff in this book.
