Blackwater

Words can't describe how stun I am to see the presence in front of me. This...man has wings, so large that it could destroy my room if he opened them up. They're white, with each feather gracefully laying in one direction against each other. I can only see the back of his head but his hair-black, graciously flowing onto to his shoulders.

My eyes widen at his presence and it's almost as if I'm dreaming. Please let this be a dream. Am I dead? Did I fall from my window and did not know it and an angel is here to take me to heaven? If I wasn't completely paralyzed in fear, I would pinch myself to see if I'm really in reality right now.

I glance over to my phone that died from low battery. There's no one to witness what I am witnessing right now. If I go missing, no one would know.

"I know this is scary Milania" he finally speaks. "But I'm not here to scare you."

"How do you know my name?" I swallow the lump in my throat to speak.

"I've been looking for you."

"Wha- looking for me? who are yo-"

"I am your guardian, Contessa" he interrupts me. "I have been by your side for many years."
