"Music is like a drug. We buy it. We use it to make our thoughts stop. We need more of it. And yet we can never get enough."

Ella is a piano prodigy. She acts like a marionette with no feeling, and any feelings she does have she pushes into her music. When a transfer student comes in and takes over her place as the best in school. Hard and harder she fights to get her spot back making her get more and more involved with the boy. Misunderstandings make them split leaving them to go in different directions.

Later on, they meet again by fate only to be brought together by secrets and lies. When the secrets and lies unravel will they unravel too?

The title of each chapter is musical terms in Italian. This book is in 3rd person limited and the point of view will always be Ella's (unless otherwise stated).

I try to update as much as I can. This is the rough draft of The Emotions Game and if there are any updates on published chapters it's only for edits in grammar and spelling.

EDITING about (1/3) of the book done.

All quotes are my own little thoughts.
