This is not your typical love story. In fact, it's not really a love story at all. This is the story of a little girl who was drawn in by someone different then the rest, someone who wasn't even human, and years later found herself trapped.
When Leilani first met Hexander, she was only a child who's biggest care in the world was keeping her hair pulled back while playing in the park. Now, thirteen years later, Leilani is still seeing Hexander everyday. Her family thought he was just an imaginary friend in her childhood but now they've begun to wonder about her sanity. And Leilani herself is still questioning the presence of this seemingly invisible being in her life.
Hexander has become more attached to Leilani than he ever believed he would have. Their friendship began as a way to redeem himself and restore what he believed to be his rightful place, but has grown to something more. He has become possessive of Leilani and won't let anyone or anything take her from his plans. That's when the deaths begin...

Before I knew it my shirt was torn away from my torso and tossed on the floor, Charlie's doing the same. Our kiss intensified and I felt him groan against my lips. I hated Blue for almost 10 years. It took me 72 hours to fall in love with her. Even though it might seem unusual for a 17 year old, I have a habit of timing things.
