Mythic is an abusive relationship to which, she cannot escape on her own. Richie put up "be my friend" on his merch store for $500. Mythic stole Kat's money to "be Richie's friend". She didn't buy it so richie would talk to her, that was just a bonus. She really just bought it to support Richie, her mother moth. Mythic and Richie talked continuously for about a month before they ended up telling each other things they thought they would never tell anyone. They began to bond, and the closeness between the 2 increased massively over the short time of knowing each other. Mythic told richie about Kat before, but never about who Kat really was.Richie was always suspicious of Kat, but once found out, he did everything in his power to protect mythic, going to extreme measures to make sure she was safe, for example flying himself out to her state of Illinois just to hold her. They knew they loved each other, but in what way?
