Hi my name is Brooke and I moved here from Colorado. I am going to my new school and today we get to figure out a sport ( we have to do a sport ). I was going to try volleyball, it would be my first time ever playing but I guess it's worth a try. So when I should up at the gym there were a lot of girls but most of them did a different sport. I ended up doing volley ball I have really nice teammates. So I'm in 7th grade and I felt really weird because I can't over hand serve, one of my teammates told me a story about her sister her sister couldn't serve overhand on till 10th grade and that made me feel better.
The first day of practice was fun when we were practicing a run threw I went for the ball and I hit it but I landed on my hip and my side and I had a really big bruise. We were practicing for a game we had soon against hombolt. For practice we worked on setting ( I can't set good ), bumping, serving, spiking, switching. Are coach was mean if you talked when you were not supposed to you'd have to run laps or do push ups.
When are first game came we were at are school and we were warming up, we were all so nervous and on the other team there were a lot of girls and the were good at serving but otherwise they sucked they wouldn't go for it most of the time which is why we won that game and we had another game soon. When it was time for are next game we were going to Hampton and those girls also sucked they were not good that's why we on four out of five games. On are way back from the game it started to storm and rain heavy, I didn't have shoes on, so I took of my socks and ran for the doors.
