*********
The world before her was breathtaking.

Clouds dotted the azure sky, drifting lazily above her. Sharp, young mountains tinted purple lined the sky in the distance. Crystal clear ocean lined the valley shore to the left, leading up to a cliff further away. A beautiful waterfall cascaded from the cliff into a lake that lead out to the sea. Life emanated from the forest beyond the lake, complemented by a watercolor back-splash of wildflowers blooming in the vast expanse of plains to the right. Color gleamed from the swirling, misty image before Ariana.

*********

Ariana's life was never easy but when she discovers a plot to take the life of her Princess, they must leave everything they knew behind. With a rip in the fabric between their world and a new one, they fall prey to more than they bargained for.

All because of her unconventional bond with a dragon, an ancient demon war resurging with her right in the center of it all, and a smoldering dark, brooding prince training her to be a part of the Dragon Riders, both girls have their lives on the line and the survival of their new world resting precariously on their shoulders.

Can Ariana and Princess Elise track down the cause of the broken seal on the demons gate and win the trust of Prince Kieran before the casualties become too great?

10 parts Complete

As the crown princess, Gabrielle's life was never meant to be easy, yet the death of her father and an assassination attempt were far from what she expected. Now, forced to leave the only life she had ever know, she runs away with the help of Cedric, her closest friend and a dragon. However, her journey has just begun and there is much more blood and tears to be spilled. ~A NOT SO HAPPY EVER AFTER~ "And they lived happily ever after..." Gabrielle finished with a smile and set the book down. She loved happy endings, it made her feel so hopeful of her own life and how it would turn for the better. Her friend, on the other hand, didn't seem to share her opinions. "Do all these books have to finish the same way?" Cedric complained, leaning his head on the backrest of his armchair in exasperation. "It's starting to get old." "Well, what would you like? The princess to remain asleep? The beast to kill the old man? The thieves to escape?" she asked him curiously. She had never found happy endings to be boring, only, well... happy. "I mean, it would be nice for the dragon to win for once," he smirked mischievously, revealing one of his elongated fangs. His golden eyes flashed with magic for a second and a tiny tendril of smoke made its way from between his lips.
