Trusting The Wrong Person

Tears were streaming down my face. I tried to wipe them away but it was hoppless so I just let them be.
I heard him screaming my name over and over again.
''Connie!'' I ignored him, Well at least I tired to.
''Connie please! I need to explain! it wasn't meant to happend.'' I can't belivie he just said that. I turned around and looked at him, he looked devastated.
"Oh please Matthew! just stop. You know what you did and you wouldn't forgive me if I did the same to you. admit it!''
He looked down at his feet, then back at me. I could tell he didn't know what to say or do.
''Okay Connie, you're right. I probably wouldn't. But the thing I want is that you just listen to me. I don't expect you to forgive me, maybe in time but now.. just listen.''
I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath.
''I'm listening.''
