It's the middle of World War II. The Battle of France is in full swing. But things are different. Now, anyone can be drafted to fight if necessary. The two countries are in total chaos. Except at a small point near Staarbrucken. There, at the very edge of the two borders, two houses, one inch apart, hold two women, Nancy and Kristen Kristen is German. Nancy is French. In an unlikely encounter, the two lovers will desperately attempt to make peace, love, and discover more about each other, all in the middle of a war zone. (this story is based off of the french and german teachers in my school--whom i ship.
