A brief explanation:
43 women around the world gave birth on the same day even though they weren't pregnant when the day started. Reginald Hargreeves adopted 7 of them. They all had powers. Unfortunately, Hargreeves was not the best father and called them by numbers. Their 'Mom', an android, gave them their names. Here are their numbers, names, and powers:
Number 1, Luther - super strength
Number 2, Diego - can manipulate objects that are being thrown (namely his knives)
Number 3, Allison - can make anyone do anything by saying ' I heard a rumor'
Number 4, Klaus - can talk to and conjure dead people
Number 5, Five - (yes his name is five) can time travel or do spatial jumps (teleport)
Number 6, Ben - can control tentacle creatures in his stomach( basically just tentacles emerging from his stomach ) (Unfortunately, he is deceased, so he has to tag along with Klaus)
Number 7, Vanya - can create destructive waves of force (which means she can destroy almost anything)
When Five got angry and time travelled all the way to after the Apocalypse happened, he found the dead bodies of his family. However, he couldn't time travel back. He was stuck there for 45 years until the Commission, a secret organisation working to keep the timeline normal, offered him a job as a killer. After years of working with them, the 58 year old Five was finally able to time travel back to his time, except he got his calculations wrong and ended up in his 13 year old body. Finding himself with his grown - up siblings, they work to stop the Apocalypse that is destined to kill them all.
