It went by like a movie.

Scene one: I'm slouching in my chair as we go over emergency procedures. Two: I'm then under my desk (out of sight, out of mind, right?), the alarms continue to blare as we switch off the lights and fly under the desks.  Three: An announcement rings around the room before getting cut off with a gun. Our principal's final words haunted my head. 

"This is not a drill. Please stay under."
