He ran as fast as he could down the dark alley way. He saw the light just ahead of him the snow was heavy now, the sound of running and gurgling snarls echoed behind him. He finally reached the end of the line he thought ducking behind a brick wall. The heard ran past him "They never look back," he scoffed with a smirk. He now sighed a breath of relief but now his first worry was running 2 blocks down. Already his next problem was a warm place to rest. He stood up nearly slipping on some snow. He walked between the rekt cars looking for one suitable for him to sleep in... after several minutes of walking he found a taxi he could rest in for the night, it even had all its windows intact with keys in the side door to lock it from the inside. He lay his duffel bag of belongings on the seat along side him, pulling the car door closed behind him.

The next morning brought a new problem (as if zombies weren't a good enough issue on their own) a blizzard now rampaged outside. He had no choice he had to wait it out. He stared blankly out the window watching the walking corpses freeze into statues before his eyes. "Weeping angels," he thought to himself in boredom. His stomach growled like the zombies around him. "Dammit I forgot the fucken' food in the ally," he said in anger. As he jerked his old iPod out of his dirty duffel bag, he thought of only one song in that moment, zombie by the cranberries. "Ah, the irony is strong with this one." he whispered to the empty air. He closed his eyes in tiredness, the bite on his leg now throbbing in pain...
