Being a vampire has its perks, like immortality and superpowers. It's a shame it doesn't come with a manual on how to use any of them. 'An Absurdist's Guide to the Undead' is a horror/mystery following Zachary Manchester, a vampire who played god and failed. After discovering his girlfriend's corpse, he tried to turn her to save her, but with no idea what he was doing it inevitably backfired in the worst possible way. Instead of the peaceful reunion he'd expected, the girl woke up screaming. Writhing in agony. Decaying. With no memories, no personality, and barely enough awareness to know how to walk, Victoria was reduced to a mere shell. Now needing to tackle both the overbearing guilt of his mistakes and having to babysit the zombie-like husk of the girl he once loved, Zach refuses to give up on finding a way to fix her. If that means turning every other human and vampire against him, so be it. After all, it's easier to grieve at a graveyard than to wake up beside a reanimated corpse every morning. Zombie Rot
Idk if anyone's ever written something like this, but it sounds pretty cool in my head. Sterek and zombies. Zombie apocalypse. And yes there are still werewolves/Coyotes/ect., but that's it, no other supernatural's. The werewolves healing abilities pretty much stop them from becoming a zombie. Instead becoming more feral like, as if a lighter version of rabies- rouge wolves- like crazy Peter. ------------------------ It all starts with a bad idea, stiles and his group of survivors trying to find somewhere safe to hide. How bad can taking refuge in an old town, and old burnt up house be when you've got zombies literally searching for living flesh to chew on. Stiles kicks aside his four barrel shot gun as Scott watches him angrily beat at what must've been an old table, or door side table of sorts, after losing a member of their group. She was strong, and close to stiles as they bonded over their versions of how the whole world wreck started. Of course that's besides the point when a hunky man, or correction, werewolf man drops down the steps of the broken home. Then again, that certain werewolf seems to have Both caught and given his attention to stiles. The human finding the large muscled, broad, stone faced, blunt man just as interesting as the wolf found the rambling, loud, leading, beautiful Human, interesting.
