Attending a school meant for kids with rights he'd never have, Remus never considered socializing as an option, as a need of survival for 7 years in one of the most famous Wizarding schools in the Wizarding World. He carried classical books, normally cooped up in his bed in the attic, reading adventure stories or diaries of people who were abnormal, people who were placed in other world's and gave him the idea of what bravery looked like. Shelves of books expanded over his wall, as if they had been planted as seeds and grown by virtue of the sunlight that filled the attic room. His books were his friends, his books were his lover, his book were his personality, his books were his comfort zone. Remus' suitcase for Hogwarts was mostly covered in fragile books, the paint peeling off the covers as the binding bended easily from all the days of being read. He didn't consider this as odd - simply as bringing your friends along. It all started off as an act kindness... Remus never planned for it to turn out the way it did. He was the boy's shield and sword, guiding him as they walked a path together. He didn't plan on the boy having his own sword. He didn't plan on the boy swinging it at him. Most of what you are about to read was written around three years ago during a difficult period in my life. I won't go into the details of such things here, but I can say that writing about the Marauders, often daily at the time, was an escape for me and what was initially a plan for a cohesive second installment of my "Mirror Moon" story quickly changed into something that resembled a collection of moments. I figured I'd never be able to share it because the story doesn't run smoothly, but when I opened the document today and saw that I'd written over 170,000 words, I knew that I needed to comb through it and find the individual stories within. All I hope is that these stories can bring you joy, entertainment or even just a short escape as they did for me all those years ago.

People have mixed feelings about the famous Maruders. Peter was a traitor, and not worthy of their friendship, yet was a calming influence to his lively friends. Remus was boring at times, yet was outstandingly smart, and kind. Sirius was cool as a cucumber, but was haughty and constantly sarcastic. James was funny and popular, however he bullied people, and showwed off a lot. People are starting to notice these flaws, and the very group is splitting down the middle, and unless they learn to change, the famous Marauders may not go down in history as the best friendship group at Hogwarts after all.Concluída
