Show him that this world is wrong and that they need to change. Clarisse is the emtional wall that holds up Montag throughout this novel. However is this the ending Montag would have wanted.

Since the original's body could no longer be used, he became a spirit stuck to the well and was unable to get out of it. A few of the chapters might have more angst.
