"You said you'd always be there for me!" Jada cries to the shirtless boy before him, glaring at his retreating figure. Jacob pauses, hearing the anger, hurt, and betrayal in her voice. "You said you'd never hurt me like he did! You promised! Yet here you are, doing the same thing he did! Turning your back on me!"

A pained look crosses the brown-haired boy's face. He turns to face the upset blonde, mouth open as if to speak but she beats him to it and utters one last sentence that would strike him straight in the heart.

"You're just like those blood suckers!"

Tears prick the male's eyes. "JJ...I-"
"No!" She says. "I never want to see you again! I hate you, Jacob Black!!" With that, the trembling girl runs off into the forest, unaware of what the tremors going through her body meant.
