Mystery
Hurricane Katrina not only destroyed New Orleans but ripped Mia's parents from her, leaving her the responsibility of her four year old brother and the weight of the world. She's bitter and heartbroken juggling three jobs to pay the rent and looking after all her foster siblings. Mia Cassidy is quiet, so quiet that if you've never met her you wouldn't know she existed. Yet she's witty, cunning, and selfish, so when a mysterious intruder burns the Tipton Plaza to ashes and snipes the heart throb of the town, it's up to Mia Cassidy to uncover who did it and manage to keep her identity a secret. Of course, with the help of the handsome Bruno, athletic Alex, and badass Hannah. But can she reveal the truth before being thrown behind bars? Mystery (might be slight romance depends what I'm feeling.)/ Thriller There will be a few swear words here and there. And one more thing, please remember what's realistic and what's not. If my main character does or says something you don't agree with, like say the n-word, remember Mia lives in an unapologetically urban city, and is not afraid to keep it real. So please don't get offended. Actually, scratch that, I don't give a shit. If you have a problem, that's what the comment section is for. If you want to vent let it all out there.
