Its almost as though people don't realise I can hear them when I stride down the school corridors, my 6-inch stilettos clacking forcefully on the tiled floor.

Even my three hundred dollar hair extensions can't block out the whispers of slut, whore , bitch , skank and tramp, that escape the mouths of every student as I saunter past them with a misleading smile on my face.

I cant tell the difference anymore between the mask I'm forced to wear around my so called 'friends' and the real me , the real Kate.

Why did I do this to myself you might ask?
Thats what I'm here to tell you , my story started with a boy , a short dress , red lipstick and a night I will never forget.
