Hoshimiko: Child of the starlight

Hoshimiko Taiyounojoou lives in a world full of chosen's and guardians. Chosen's are women born with a mark(s) on their forehead, magic abilities, wings and ties to a guardian. A guardian are males born with a mark on their forehead that matches their fated chosen's mark(s), wings and magic abilities. Each in its own is a strong being, but when together, they are an unstoppable force. Or so legend has told us. As long as the world has been alive chosen's and guardians have saved this world from the shadow world, a place made of pure evil that no good can penetrate. Hoshimiko has been sent to the city of Thiffsonia to heal and save what is broke. But to do that Miko must first save her partner, but how can she do that if she cannot even break her own curse?
