The World's Secret

What happens when twenty-one children from nearly twenty different countries get kidnapped at the same time? Well, nothing at first, because thousands of children get kidnapped daily right? And the time thing, that has to be purely coincidental. But what happens when one of the world's most renowned terrorist group claimed the attack. They released the names of the children and the locations where they snatched them.

This flipped the switch on the world. People were outraged, fingers were being pointed and demands were being made. It had people asking questions that should have been asked in the beginning. Then the super countries stepped in, denying everything, calling the terrorists liars and telling the rest of the world to forget about it and move on. And that's when the conspiracy theories started pouring in. Theories went from alien abduction and child cloning to blood sacrifices and a new age slavery. The world went from angry to wary to apathetic. These are the emotions of a person when you don't tell them your secret.
