"Rose!" I hear a shout from behind me.

"Yeah?" I turn to see Cohen jogging towards me, his green eyes hiding behind the thick frames of his glasses. A grey school uniform is baggy around his abdomen, and his golden skin is almost glowing in the warm autumn sun. I sigh. Oh, Cohen. If only you felt the same way that I do.

"Get your head out of the clouds, come on! We're gonna be late!" He is hurrying away before I can reply.

Rose has liked Cohen for a long time. A really long time. A really, really long time. A really, really, really, real- well, you get the gist. Ever since she laid eyes on him in fifth grade, she has had a crush. A big crush.

The trouble is, he probably doesn't see her as a love interest. Even though he helped her through some of the most depressing times of her life, she is almost positive he sees her as a friend.
