                Kadence Crawford is a sixteen year old girl who has a completely normal and boring life. And she expects to have one for the rest of her life. That is until childhood murderer Dylan Franco comes back into town. After five years of being in prison, he gets out and wants to finish school. But when the principal chooses Kadence, out of all people, to help him around school and to tutor him, she has no choice but to help. 


               As more time passes by, Dylan tries to bring back feelings that Kadence doesn't have anymore, and she slowly discovers the reason why he killed his mom.
