There is a town in Maine called Storybrooke, where the inhabitants are characters from fairy tales we know - or think we know. Except, of course, these characters and their tales are all mixed up.
Killian Jones is just a normal 28-year-old hot guy - or at least that's what he thinks until his long lost daughter, Violet, shows up and takes him to her hometown. Killian soon gets into a rivalry with the mayor of the town - and Violet's adoptive father - Rumplestiltskin, who knows more about the town's secrets that it appears.
