Numb is the story of 17 year old Ariella who is known to everyone as 'that perfect girl who's got it all', but does she really?
The young girl knows that everything she's got isn't what she wants. She keeps her depression and scars hidden from everyone, which just might be the biggest mistake she's ever done. Nobody truly knows her and she feels like no one ever will if she keeps her true feelings shut out from the world and keeps pretending to be the plastic happy barbie everyone expects her to be.
Until the Kyle comes along. Kyle is the school's most known introvert. He keeps to himself at all times, even when he's with his usual squad. He's mysterious, handsome and a total pain in the ass when it comes to Ariella.
So what exactly does happen when these two get together? Ariella doesn't have much expectations from Kyle, actually, she tends to ignore him. But she's completely taken aback when she realizes that Kyle is able to light something long-forgotten inside her. She's been so used to feeling nothing that she just doesn't know how to react when she actually does.
This story strongly displays the ridiculous expectations teenagers are expected to live up to, the fact that not everything is the way it seems and that depression should not be taken lightly.Todos los derechos reservados
