Take a Giant Step

Madeline is starting college in a new town, much bigger than she's used to. Feeling alone and naturally shy, she has trouble finding someone with common interests. She eventually comes across an older man who is lonely and in need of a friend; will they become more than just friends? This is going to be set in the late 80's.
