"How can you love someone so-so broken?" My voice cracked as I looked up at Kaleb. Kaleb pins me to the wall, as a whimper escapes my mouth.

"Who says I can't?" He raises his brows with a smirk painted onto his face. Suddenly, Kaleb grabs my face and kisses me, sending sparks down my spine to my toes.

17 year old Claudia Jones spent 17 years of her life living in fear, hurt, and in the shadows. She loves her father dearly, but she fears him just as much. Her mother didn't want her, so she left Claudia to be a punching bag for her abusive, alcoholic craved father.
