17 year old Claudia Jones spent 17 years of her life living in fear, hurt, and in the shadows. She loves her father dearly, but she fears him just as much. Her mother didn't want her, so she left Claudia to be a punching bag for her abusive, alcoholic craved father. Getting transferred for the 3rd time in the month of October, Claudia is transferred to Weston High, where she is brought to more hatred and high school competition.
People who tries to help Claudia, she pushes them far away, in fear of what her father would do if he found out. Kaleb Pierce...... Two words. Bad ass. He's the cliché bad boy along with his 3 friends. They're the bad boys of Weston High. They have the looks, they're cocky, arrogant, rich, and very much assholes and bullies. They are the 'Kings' of the school.
