She wrapped her arms around my neck and swayed to the music with me. Her eyes were blue in the light. She was beautiful. Her violet colored dress matched perfectly with the color of the streaks in her black hair. She was beautiful, how could I not have had her sooner?
"Thank you," she whispered in my ear as we swayed slowly. I smiled. She had no date to the prom and since mine left me, I got her. She was sitting on the bench a little away so I went up to her and asked her to dance. And I don't regret doing it.
