Rain

The rain.. it's the only thing that's kept me calm ever since I was a child. Not having much peace as a child, I focused on the rain on days my parents didn't get along. The rain took me away, to a peaceful place. It's such a peaceful sound.. the thunder, the calming sound that travels across the land.. maybe one day, they'd understand why I was such a quiet child. I wanted to listen to the rain.. listen and let the rain take you away too. Listen as all the many drops of rain hit the ground. Sit and watch all the lightning that travels across the sky. One day, they'll realize how amazing the rain really is..
