With hightened senses, reflexes and memory, they are considered perfect human beings, all for one fault: for all of their years of life, neither has ever experienced social emotions, such as friendship, love, or rivalry. The two live atop the highest building in New Helios, a bustling city on the edge of a technological revolution where nobody ever sleeps and popularity is a tangible and desirable thing.
