Mind the Gap | ✔️
| 𝟭𝟲𝘅 𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗗 · [EDITORS' CHOICE -- NOVEMBER 2020] [ONC 2020 Winner] Two strangers on separate trains, divided by uncaring glass. A bond forms between them. But will it hold when their trains are bound for different destinations? Evan's heart has been bleeding since his little family was torn apart by divorce, and his nose runs with a cold. Trying to pick up the pieces of his life, he has changed cities, and he's about to change jobs. And he has run out of tissues. A woman's blue hair catches his eye at a train station. And her smile, fortified by braces, catches his heart. Sitting in her train, Iris revels in her future perfect. Her work is finally getting published and she has found Mr. Right. Nothing could go wrong now. Gazing out of the window, she sees the stranger. He looks miserable and sneezes, but her hands want to tousle his bed hair. A random encounter at a subway station. But both of them are caught in their tracks and when their trains pull apart, they don't expect to meet again. ⭐⭐⭐ This is a slow-burn, peculiar romance; an expanded Open Novella Contest Entry based on Prompt #61 in the Romance section: "After being jilted, you move to the city to hide your embarrassment, lick your wounds, and start afresh." Quiet The Mind (under editing)
You see, we all bleed red which means things that we feel are not foreign. Never think you're crazy or alone for the way that you are. My passion flows freely and I let my imagination run wild with no judgment. My thoughts are like fireworks exploding in the sky full of bright burning colors that make you remember everything. Oh and don't even ask what all of this is about because I don't even know. Enjoy this ongoing journey with me.Kumpleto

MELANCHOLY | MAY GARNER | AVAILABLE ON AMAZON! ⋆˚𖤓˖° This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly you begin to forget I ever existed. All of me - the parts of flesh you never quite learned to love slips quietly down the drain. I am waiting for the day your fingers unscrew the pipes, dig through the mess, scrape your heart against rust, just to find me again, so we can do it all over. Here, in these pages, I find myself. In ink pressed against my flesh, I whisper the sadness, the heartache, the decay meant for all the unspoken. ⋆˚𖤓˖° A Poetry Collection by May Garner. Original poems regarding real life experiences. EPIPHANY
"I'm desperately trying to heal myself." •. •. •. •. •. I strongly believe art isn't supposed to be pretty, or liked and understood by the masses. Art is supposed to make you uncomfortable, it's supposed to boggle your mind and touch your heart. And this is what I've done. Most of my words aren't pretty. They are the real ugly truths about the things and people around me. The factors that make me who I am. This is a bringing together of the most intimate tragedies and beauties I've discovered in my mind. A Complication of Poetry. © 2018meditatingineden •Highest Rank• #21 in memoir #60 in growth #22 in contemporary #37 In hidden treasuresKumpleto![[kodachrome]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/353007492-256-k353702.jpg)
[kodachrome]
Life is as intense as you allow it to be. Some people bring overwhelming joy; others leave wounds that never fully close. [kodachrome] is a journal born from that intensity, where healing through words becomes the only way to survive what cannot be forgotten. Rather than blurring pain into shades of gray, this collection paints it in color: memories, almost-loves, resentment, longing, and the quiet aftermath of heartbreak. Like a kodachrome photograph, each piece is vivid and emotional, preserving moments that shaped a soul in an era filled with sadness. This book contains poetry, short stories, and intimate reflections, written as an act of release, a way of forgiving without forgetting, of remembering without losing oneself. * Mostly fictional, inspired by real emotions and past experiences. 📌 https://pin.it/56l6eI7mQ
